L. Odell Cox, 75, of Old Battleground Road, Greensboro died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Hospice Home At High Point.
Mr. Cox was born in Randolph County on November 28, 1939, the son of Lester and Cora (Williamson) Cox. Odell was the owner/operator of Traders Chevrolet in Greensboro. He was a member of Rocky River Friends Meeting where he had served as Sunday School Superintendent. Odell like all sports, enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, William B. Cox.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Mary Alice (Cotner) Cox; sister, Carol Brady of Coleridge and brother, Ronald Cox of Asheboro.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Rocky River Friends Cemetery, 1795 Staley-Snow Camp Road, Siler City with Pastor, David Hobson officiating.
