Kenneth Earl Foushee, 67, of Gilmore Lodge Road, Siler City died Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Foushee was born in Chatham County on September 24, 1947 the son of Maddie Bynum and Lillie (McDaniel) Foushee. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, was of the Baptist faith and was a repairman for Sprint Telephone services. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, gardening, mowing, and wood working.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Kathy (Beal) Foushee; three sons: Eugene Foushee and wife, Leigh of Raleigh, NC, Tim Foushee and wife, Katie of Sanford, NC, Kevin Foushee of Raleigh, NC; three sisters: Zelda F. Lewis of Graham, NC, Sylvia F. Brown of Siler City, NC, Faye Dean F. Stout of Siler City, NC; one brother: Gerald Foushee of Staley, NC; grandchildren, Maddie and Meredith Foushee.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Bonlee Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Rives Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Siler City.
