Kenneth (Kenny) Wayne Anders, a life-long resident of North Carolina died unexpectedly on March 9, 2023 at the age of 65.
Kenny is survived by his father, RV Anders of Goldston; daughter, Lenena Blake (Husband Tim) of West End; Grandson, Adley Johnson of West End, Bonus Grandson, Hunter Blake of West End; Brother, Steve Anders (Wife Alice) of Oak Ridge; Sister, Darlene Bristow of Greensboro. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Faye Mashburn Anders and a sister who died at birth.
Kenny was born in Guilford County on May 3, 1957 to RV Anders and Faye Mashburn Anders. Kenny graduated from Chatham Central High School in 1975. Kenny enlisted in the United States Army after graduation where he proudly served his country. His tours included Germany and Switzerland which he often spoke of going back to one day.
Kenny enjoyed traveling to the mountains of Tuckasegee NC where his father was born and to Myrtle Beach South Carolina for Bike Week. His passions included riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and detailing his 1968 Chevrolet truck. Kenny also enjoyed eating out, dancing, playing cards and spending time with friends. Kenny was best known for his sense of humor and charm with the ladies as demonstrated by his nickname known by those closest to him.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Carbonton United Methodist Church in Goldston NC, on Friday, March 24, 2023 where Mike Seawell will officiate. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Carbonton United Methodist Church at 5442 Goldston-Carbonton Rd Goldston NC 27252.
