John Russell McPherson

John Russell McPherson, age 62, of Siler City died Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Mr. McPherson was born May 12, 1958 in Chatham County to Ronald William and Lucy Nance McPherson, who preceded him in death. He was in maintenance at multiple apartment facilities and worked in carpentry for Ellington Construction. John was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church. Going camping or being on his motorcycle are what made him happy. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling his two dogs Rascal and Bowe. He is survived by wife: Arleen Olson McPherson of Siler City; daughter: Joy McPherson of Ellerbe, NC; sisters: Gwen M. Johnson and husband, Ed of Siler City and Cheryl Smith and husband, Edward of Siler City; and brother: Ronald Wayne McPherson and wife, Pam of Snow Camp.
