Jewel Teague Hall, 70, of Burlington died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington.
Mrs. Hall was born in Chatham County on December 25, 1944 the daughter of Grady and Roberta (Brown) Teague. She had been employed in a nursing home helping others but she was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jewel could often be found reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dwight Hall; son, Keith Hall; grandchildren, Logan Hall, Lindsay Hall; her parents; brothers, Grady Teague, Jr. and Richard Wayne Teague.
She is survived by four sons: Kenneth Dwight Hall and wife, Ashley of Pittsboro, NC, Jeff Scott Hall and wife, Mary of Burlington, NC, Robert Craig Hall and wife, Rebecca of Burlington, NC, Timothy Lee Hall and wife, Mischelle of Mebane, NC; three sisters: Nell Caudle of McLeansville, NC, Joyce Branson of Bear Creek, NC, Hilda Spivey of Pittsboro, NC and thirteen grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Cassady officiating. Burial will follow in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.
