Jeremy Grant Fields peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2012.
Jeremy was born January 12, 1988 in Siler City. He was the son of Jack and Cecelia Fields. Jeremy was diagnosed in December 2000 with Batten Disease (NCL neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis) a neurodegenerative disease. There is still no cure for Batten Disease. In his short 24 years, he lost his vision, speech and mobility but he never lost his smile.
Jeremy is survived by his loving mother, Cecelia Fields, his brothers Curry Fields, Jeff Fields and wife Ashley, Lyle Brinn and wife Kate, his sister Missy Fields Petty and husband Shawn, his grandmother Gladys K. Phillips, his grandfather Tommy Dixon. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Jack Fields and his paternal grandmother Nannie Gaines Fields.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Bear Creek Baptist Church.
