Jennie Green Taylor Bridgers

Jennie Green Taylor Bridgers, 95, of 7166 Jordan Road, Ramseur died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Universal Health Care Of Ramseur. Mrs. Bridgers was born July 26, 1916 the daughter of William Joseph and Mamie (Green) Taylor. Mrs. Bridgers was born in Martin County, North Carolina. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Siler City and a former member of the Siler City BPW. Jennie and her husband owned and operated Chatham Insurance and Realty Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. " Dick" Bridgers; son, Joe Bridgers; her parents and a sister, Mamie Taylor Slade. She is survived by one son: Richard Bridgers and wife Sandy of Wendell, NC; grandchildren, Richard Shane Bridgers and wife, Stephanie of Durham, NC, Jennifer Lauren Bridgers of Wendell, NC and Matthew Justin Bridgers of Wendell, NC and a; great-granddaughter, Neaveh Sky Bridgers. The funeral will be Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 314 N. 2nd Ave., Siler City with Rev. Tony Capehart officiating. Burial will follow in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.
