Jeannie Riddle Moody

Jeannie Riddle Moody, 62, of Siler City lost her long fight with cancer on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at UNC Hospitals. Mrs. Moody was born in Durham County on March 5, 1951 the daughter of John and Emily (Bullock) Riddle. She attended Edward Hill Friends Meeting and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Jeannie loved nursing and helping people in need and never met a stranger. She enjoyed traveling and working in her flowers. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Alice Connor. She is survived by her husband: Monte Moody; daughter: Marci Moody of Silk Hope, NC; son, Andy Moody of Carthage, NC and sister, Edna McNeill of Pittsboro, NC. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Rev. Bob Wachs officiating.
