Jean Odom Knight

Jean O. Knight, 70, of Sanford died Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Mrs. Knight was born October 7, 1945 the daughter of the late Henry Redford Odom and Ara Ethel Odom. Mrs. Knight was a native of Chatham County. Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She attended Emmaus Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday class. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother. She is survived by daughters: Angela K. Lowe and husband, Greg, Rebecca K. Shepard and husband, Scott and son, Robbie Neal Knight and wife, Wendy; grandchildren, Lindsey Lowe Straub and husband, Warren, Shelly Lowe Jinorio and husband, Jason, Abrey Shepard Ramirez and husband, Aaron, Kelby Scot Shepard, Brynna Rose Shepard, and Shelby Neal Knight; great-grandchild, Nayeli Makai Ramirez. The memorial service will be held at the Emmaus Baptist Church, 2430 Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road, Pittsboro, NC 27312 at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 6, 2016 with Pastor Steve Moore officiating. Following the service the family invites you to join them in the fellowship hall for visitation.
