. Janiece Keller Lowe, 94, of Sam Lowe Road, Siler City died Friday, April 12, 2013 at Chatham Hospital, Inc., Siler City. Mrs. Lowe was born in Chatham County on February 2, 1919 the daughter of Murphy and Susie (Cooper) Keller. She was a homemaker, a member of Rocky River Friends Meeting and the Believers Sunday School Class. Janiece enjoyed the outdoors and took great pride in her garden and yard work. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel B. Lowe; brothers, Garland and Carlos Keller; sisters, Gertrude Wicker and Inez Moon. She is survived by two daughters: Linda L. McPherson and husband, Jimmy, Shirley L. Williams and husband, Bobby; two sons: Wayne Lowe and wife, Pat, James Lowe and wife, Sylvia all of Siler City, NC; two sisters: Nannie Mae Hinshaw of Siler City, NC, Lottie Carter of Liberty, NC; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The visitation will be Monday April 15, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Rocky River Friends Meeting, 1795 Staley-Snow Camp Road, Siler City. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM with David Hobson and Jim Folks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rocky River Friends Meeting, 802 North Dogwood Avenue, Siler City, NC 27344. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
