Janice "Jan" Marie Staton Crank

Janice "Jan" Marie Staton Crank, age 70, of Bear Creek died Friday, July 17, 2020 at UNC Hospice, Pittsboro. Mrs. Crank was born October 16, 1949 in Milan, TN, the daughter of Henry Clifford and Lila B Butler Staton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Janice was a retired Paralegal with Greenburg Trauig, enjoyed reading, playing the piano, and working puzzles. She also enjoyed collecting tea sets, sitting on her back porch and loved her dachshunds, Fidget, Jack and Jill. She is survived by her husband of 44 years: Benny Ralph Crank; three sons: Timothy J. Turner and wife, Jeanne of Pittsboro, NC, Dan Ritchie of Clarksville, TN and Jeff Ritchie of TX, one brother: Joe Staton and wife, Hilarie of Kingston, NY; grandchildren, Andrew, Johnathan, Kim, Scotty and Kathleen; and 8 great grandchildren A Celebration of Life service will be held in late August.
