Janette DeBoard Fagg

Janette DeBoard Fagg, 78, of Gilliland Road, Siler City died Saturday, May 16, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Fagg was born Smyth County, Richmond, Virginia on December 14, 1936, the daughter of Glenn and Mary (Parks) DeBoard. Janette was a retired bus driver for the Chatham County Schools and a teacher's aide. She loved to help raise her grandchildren, mowing the yard and loved Sealtest chocolate milk. Janette was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Parks LaRue. She is survived by her husband: Louis Fagg ; two sons: Bobby McLeod of Siler City, NC, Robert "Peanut" McLeod and wife, Cathy of Staley, NC; sister: Wilma Bowman of Siler City, NC and two brothers, Sterling DeBoard and wife, Betty of VA; Joe DeBoard and wife, Shirley of Siler City, NC; grandchildren, Tommy and Ashley McLeod, Christopher, Braysen and Allie McLeod; great-grandchildren, Summer, Taylor and Leah McLeod, Peyton, Lindsey and Preston Sizemore. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to the service at Moon's Chapel Baptist Church, 175 Moon's Chapel Road, Siler City, NC. The funeral will follow on Tuesday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Faw officiating. Burial will be in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.
