James Louis Isreal Jr., age 74, of Siler City died Friday, June 26, 2020 at UNC Hospitals Hillsboro.
Mr. Isreal was born July 30, 1945 Philadelphia, PA the son of the late James Louis Isreal and Claudia Andrews Isreal. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Charlene Govan Isreal; son: Jamine Lewis Isreal; and grandson: Joseph Woods.
He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and a former member of Praise Tabernacle Church. Mr. Isreal was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked at the Budd Automotive Mfg plant in Philadelphia PA, as an assembler.
James is survived by daughter: Juanita M. Isreal and son: Cristen Isreal both of Siler City, NC; sister: Irma Isreal; brothers: Jeffrey Isreal and wife, Denise, Michael Isreal and wife Justine all of Philadephia, PA; grandchildren: Shamar Sumlin, Robert & Deja Durant; great grandson: Aidan Durant; nephew: Aaron Harper; nieces: Makia Harper, Alicia Richardson and Lashelle Lane; great niece: Lauren Lane; great nephew: Chase Richardson; and exceptional friend: Raymond Glover. James leaves a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.
A graveside service will be Friday, July 3, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at Oakwood Cemetery, N. Chatham Ave, Siler City.
