James Christopher Everhart

James Christopher Everhart, 93, of Graham, formerly of Siler City, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Hock Family Pavilion Hospice in Durham. Mr. Everhart was born in Davidson County on December 20, 1920 the son of Earlie H. and Tula Mae Sexton Everhart. Jim owned Everhart Carpet and Upholstery Company for many year in Siler City. He was preceded in death by a son, Clay Christopher Everhart and his parents. He is survived by two daughters: Constance Everhart Winderhouse and husband, Gordon of Chapel Hill, NC, Lori Jean Everhart of Washington, DC; grandson, Christopher Wolfe of Chapel Hill, NC; three sisters: Nova Dennis, Shirley Thomas and Mary Bumgarner all of Thomasville, NC and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
