James Allen Jordan

James Allen Jordan, 82 of Siler City, NC died on Friday, January 2012 at the Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro, NC. His previous residences included a group home in Durham, NC and Hill Forest Rest Home in Goldston, NC. James was born in Siler City, on July 3, 1929 to Tom and Cara Wrenn Jordan of Siler City, NC. He is survived by his oldest brother Rev. Robert Harry Jordan and wife Frances Weaver Jordan of Wilson, NC, brother, Wrenn Jordan of Siler City, NC, nephew Thomas Mark Jordan of Durham, NC and niece Charlotte Frances Jordan of Raleigh, NC. James was known for enjoying people, singing hymns, special friends and pets. He worked at the Orange Person Chatham workshop. A committal graveside service will be held for family and friends on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Siler City Oakwood Cemetery. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
