Jacqueline Marie Price Pickard

Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Price Pickard, 78, of 679 Charlie Cooper Road, Siler City died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Beacon Place Hospice, Greensboro, NC. Mrs. Pickard was born April 25, 1942 in Georgetown, SC to Burt and Edna (Johnson) Price. She attended Jordan Matthews High School and was a long-time employee of Carolina Power and Light until her retirement in 2000. Jackie loved animals of all kinds, working in her yard, cooking, and she excelled at quilting, stained glass, sewing, cross-stitch, and crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Suzanne Price Hicks and Barbara Jean Price Hart, and brother Thomas Allen "Tadpole" Price. Jackie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronnie M. Pickard; daughter Carolyn M. Kimes and husband, Tom, of Apex, NC; son James R. Marley and wife, Anne, of Naples, FL; granddaughter Catherine Kimes of Apex, NC; grandson Jackson Marley of Boone, NC; sisters Nancy Price Dunn and Lucinda Price Pinnock of Siler City; step-daughter Casey Pickard of Goldston, NC, step-grandchildren Nickie Fox and Lee Mcgehee; step-great-grandchildren Jacob Partin, Ashlynne Fox and Makenna Mcgehee; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jake.
