Jack Thomas Scott, 85, of Siler City died Friday, October 2, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Scott was a native of Randolph County. Jack was born November 21, 1929 the son of Flecher Lee and Emma Bray Scott. He was employed by Schneierson as a sewing machine mechanic. His hobbies were stamp collecting and model cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruby Younger and Louise Albright; brother, Claude Scott. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Mary (Branson) Scott of the home; nephews, Mitch Lutterloh and wife, Judi of Graham, NC and Ronnie Scott of Siler City, NC; nieces, Linda Moody, Shirley Johnson, Tina Oldham, Cynthia Brown all of Siler City, NC, Sara Deluca of McLeansville, NC; special niece, Sonya Beavers and husband, Jeff of Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in the Hope Cemetery in Bonlee, NC with Rev. Brandon Dobson officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Hope Fellowship Hall.
