Ivan Christopher Seal

Ivan Christopher "Chris" Seal, 38, of Bear Creek died Monday, December 2, 2013. Mr. Seal was born March 12, 1975 in Picayune, Mississippi the son of Ivan M. Seal and Marilyn Boone Tucker. He was employed as a structural welder, worked with Special Olympics in Chatham County, and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Picayune, MS. Chris was a loving father with a big heart, always lending a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing and animals. He is survived by one son: Ivan Mason Seal; daughters, Keely Alexis, Jaxon Grace, Raceine Louise Seal; father, Ivan M. Seal of Bear Creek; mother, Marilyn Boone Tucker and husband, Gary of Bear Creek; brothers, James Douglas Seal of Bear Creek, NC, David Mcray Seal of Hattiesburg, MS. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Rev. Tim Qualls officiating.
