Irene White Joyce

Irene White Joyce, 91, of Siler City died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Care View Rest Home, Snow Camp. Mrs. Joyce was born in Chatham County on May 24, 1923 the daughter of Thomas B. and Matie (Tally) White. Irene was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Elba Joyce; her parents, brother, Gordon White; sisters, Dot Pike, Mozelle Peck and Daphne King. She is survived by daughter: Pam Joyce Jarman and husband, Darden of Siler City, NC; son: Gary Alan Joyce and wife, Patsy of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter. The funeral will be Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Rev. Michael Barrett officiating.
