Harvey Odell Shore

Harvey Odell Shore, 72, of Kent, Washington died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Valley Medical Center, Renton, Washington. Mr. Shore was born July 11, 1939 in North Carolina the son of Lawrence Daniel and Mary Elizabeth (McPherson) Shore. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Viet Nam War and had been employed by Boeing Airlines. He is survived by of one sister: Betty S. Long and husband, Robert F. of Siler City, NC; niece, Lisa Cox and husband, Johnny of Bear Creek, NC; nephew, Robert W. Long and wife, Kami of Siler City, NC; nephew, Dow Shore of Trion, GA; great-nieces, Ashley and Amanda Cox, Brianna Shore and Eve Long; sister-in-law, Jeanette Shore of Trion, GA. A graveside service, with military rites by the Randolph County Honor Guard, will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Cane Creek Friends Meeting at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jim Petty officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at Cane Creek Friends Meeting.
