Gloria Hadley Wiley

Gloria Hadley Wiley, 62, of Lakewood Drive, Siler City died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Wiley was born in Alamance County on July 27, 1952 the daughter of Hassell and Mae (Wright) Hadley. She was a member of South Fork Friends Church, was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Siler City Center and had delivered newspapers for several years. Gloria enjoyed animals, especially her cat, Smokey. She is survived by her son, Lynn Gathings of New Bern; grandson, Zachery Gathings of Pollockville, NC; mother and step-father, Mae Hadley Leo and Peter Leo of Emerald Isle. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Andrew Needham officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. Interment will follow South Fork Friends Church. Memorials may be made to South Fork Friends Meeting.
