Glenn Daniel Rich, Jr.

Glenn Daniel Rich, Jr, age 64, of Cedar Falls passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Glenn was born May 1, 1955 in Randolph County, the son of Glenn Daniel Rich, Sr. and Joyce York Rich. Glenn worked for many years in commercial construction and in textiles and later was owner of Faith Packaging. He enjoyed woodworking, classic cars, traveling and going on many trips with the love of his life, Sharon. He took great pride in providing for his wife and family and having family get togethers. In addition to his parents; Glenn was preceded in death by five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Sharon McPherson Rich, children: Angie (Travis) Trotter of Sophia, Daniel (Echo) Rich of Cedar Falls, Joshua (Kristy) Rich of Norwood, Alissa (Jason) Staley of Seagrove, Zach (Meagan) Rich of Asheboro, Jessie (Drew) Hoover of High Point and Sarah (Justin) Latham of Climax; 10 grandchildren: Maddie Trotter, Gavin Rich, McKenzie, Luke and Camden Rich, Natalie, Logan and Peyton Staley, Chloe and Laynie Rich; sister: Carol (Raydean) Kivett of Asheboro and many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends Monday, January 6, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC with Rev. Todd Nance officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Asheboro.
