Gladys Kimrey Phillips, 91, of Siler City died Monday, June 5, 2023 at her home.
Gladys was born Dec 27, 1931 the daughter of Hoyle Kimrey and Mary Helen Carpenter. Gladys was a born in Stanley County and grew up in Liberty NC. She retired from Collins & Ackman Weaving. Her knowledge and wisdom will be missed and will live on through her friends and family. She enjoyed gospel music, spending time with family, gardening, and attending the Cowboy Church.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Mike Kimrey and Dillon Kimrey, sons, Mike Dixon and Bill Dixon, grandchild, Jeremy Fields, great grandchildren, Parker Dixon and Avery Brinn. She is survived by her daughter: Cecelia Fields of Siler City, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
