Frank Hoyle Lemons, 93, of Siler City died Saturday, November 17, 2018 at UNC Hospice Home, Pittsboro, NC.
Mr. Lemons was born in Chatham County on May 14, 1925 the son of John Milton and Lena Covert Lemons. He was employed by NCDOT as a Foreman. Hoyle was a member of Edward Hill Church, he enjoyed gardening, bird hunting and loved his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Wilson, Doyle and Johnnie Lemons, sisters; Barbara Elmore, Mozelle Clark and Alma Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Kathleen N. Lemons, sons: Richard Lemons and wife, Susie and Barry Lemons and wife, Mary Lois both of Siler City, NC, grandchildren, Jeri Powell and Richard Lemons, Jr., Chris and Tammy Harris; great-granddaughter, Ashley Harris.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 1 to 2 PM at Edward Hill Friends Meeting, 92 Ed Leonard Road, Siler City. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM with Josh Conrad officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
