Fleta Price Knight

Fleta Price Knight, 58, of Sanford passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at her home in Sanford, NC. Ms. Knight was born in Chatham County on October 13, 1962, the daughter of Parker Gene and Fleta Alston Price. Fleta loved to travel, and spending time visiting with her family and friends. She spent her working years working in Human Resources at Pope Air Force Base. She was always entertaining and cooking a delicious meal. Fleta loved getting out and singing karaoke. You could always find her out shopping for little gadgets. Fleta is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Brittney Carter and husband Corey of Bel Air, MD and Linsey Knight of Winston Salem; sister, Phyllis A. Martin of Silk Hope; brothers, Torris Price, Sr. of Siler City, and Eric Price of Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Reece, Cole and Ari. Fleta will lie in repose on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 1:00-5:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Corinth AME Zion Church Cemetery, Ross Ave., Siler City with Rev. Verlon Anderson officiating. After the graveside service, family will receive visitors at 701 Hill Street, Siler City. Memorials may be made to Susan G.
