Fallie Catherine Reitzel Andrews, 100, Siler City died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
Mrs. Andrews was born May 16, 1916 in Chatham County, the daughter of William Eugene and Evia Swiggett Reitzel.
Fallie was a homemaker, and a graduate of Staley High School. She was the oldest member of Moon's Church Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school, and was involved in many aspects of the church. Fallie loved her family, enjoyed quilting and working in her flowers. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Clyde "Spud" Andrews, son, James E. Andrews and brother, Delbert Reitzel.
She is survived by son: Wayne E. Andrews and wife, Pat of Staley, grandchildren, James Andrews and wife, Marsha; Dennis Andrews and wife Donna, Beverly Cunningham and husband Mike, Keith and Kevin Andrews, Greg Andrews and wife Mel, granddaughter-in-law, Lori Andrews; great grandchildren, Ryan Andrews and wife, Jen, Allison Moody, Ashley Andrews, Halie Cunningham, Lane Andrews, Samantha Andrews, Austin Andrews, Grayer Andrews, Hayes Andrews, Audrey Andrews, great-great grandchildren, Sophia Catherine Moody and Savannah Fallie Andrews, special caregiver, Monica Greene.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM prior at Moon's Chapel Baptist Church, 175 Moon's Chapel Road, Siler City. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Faw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Moon's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
