Faith Anne Young Burgess Ernenwein
Born March 20, 1977 (The first day of Spring)
Died October 24, 2023
Age 46
Faith was a beautiful soul with a good heart and an amazing Mother.
When Faith was young, she loved to sing on both of her grandmothers’ porches. After each song, she would clap and bow. For all she knew, she was on stage, performing for all the neighbors. As she grew older, she would sit at the piano with her mom, and they would sing John Denver songs together. Later in life, her dreams of singing on stage would come true. She and her first husband, Westley, would perform a concert for their church and occasionally sing specials for church.
During her first marriage, she was gifted with two sons; Christian and Buddy, whom she loved dearly. She was always proud of them and their achievements. She loved calling them just to hear how their day was going. She was a loving mother and will continue to watch them grow from up above.
Later, Faith went on to marry her second husband, Emmett. They lived a happy marriage for a few years until he sadly passed. He remained in her thoughts each day.
Although Faith went through difficult times, she was always determined to better herself. We were always proud of her. Faith would travel to Topsail Beach, Jordan Lake, or her mom’s front porch swing. There she would sit quietly and have a little talk with Jesus, or Mom, or both. It always soothed her mind and soul.
Although Faith’s life song has ended, she is just beginning her Heavenly Song up above in Heaven for all the Angels to listen. She is safe and at peace in her Savior’s arms. We love you, Faith.
The family will be having an informal Celebration of Faith’s Life Visitation on Sunday, October 29th from 4 to 6 Pm at Rocky River Baptist Church Fellowship Building at 4436 Siler City Snow camp Rd., Siler City. The Fellowship Building is in the rear of the church.
If you are sending flowers, please have them delivered to Smith & Buckner Funeral Home (230 North Second Ave., Siler City, NC 27344).

Safely Home
I am home in Heaven, dear ones:
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever.
Safely home in Heaven at last.
