Evonne Brown Musso

Evonne Brown Musso, 80, of 1112 West Third Street, Siler City died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Chatham Hospital, Inc., Siler City. Mrs. Musso was born July 8, 1932 in Chatham County, the daughter of Wesley R. and Maggie (Moore) Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Musso and a son, Larry Dean Brooks. Evonne was a homemaker and a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. She did volunteer work in New York and loved to knit and crochet. She is survived by two sons: Ronnie Brooks of Bennett, NC, and Mickey Brooks of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, James, Mickey, Larry, Jimmy and Rickey Brooks; great-grandchildren, Zachery, Hagan and Madison; two step-daughters, Sally Roelle and Norma Davis both of New York; six step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2:30 - 3:00 PM at Brush Creek Baptist Church, 5345 Airport Road, Bear Creek, NC. The funeral will be Monday, February 25, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Brush Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
