Evelyn Blackmon Oldham

Evelyn Blackmon Oldham, 69, of Goldston-Carbonton Road, Goldston died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Mrs. Oldham was born in Cumberland County on August 28, 1942 the daughter of Edward and Stella (Ammons) Blackmon. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and had been employed at Kayser Roth. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas J. Oldham She is survived by two daughters: Joyce Adcock and husband, Jeff of Bear Creek, NC, Teresa Mashburn of Goldston, NC and one son: Ricky Douglas Oldham and wife, Becky of Bear Creek, NC; three sisters: Mary Stone (Frank) of Cameron, NC, Mae Jamerson and husband, Calvin of Sanford, NC, Beulah Stone (Buster) of Cameron, NC and four brothers: Bobby Blackmon and wife, Shelia of Siler City, NC, Jimmy Blackmon and wife, Bonnie of Cameron, NC, Johnny Blackmon and wife, Vicki of Bear Creek, NC, Kenny Blackmon of Tramway, NC; grandchildren, Josie A. Seely (Shawn), Joanie Adcock (Jamie), Ginger M. Balling (Chris), Ricky Dustin Oldham (Tabitha) and Stacy Willett; great-grandchildren, Jake and James Bain, Shyanna and Tristan Seely, Bobby and Alizia Carter, Faith and Christa Balling and Dalton Oldham. The family will receive friends Friday, July 27, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC.
