Eva Moody Bare

Eva Moody Bare, 91, of Siler City died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Siler City Center, Siler City. Mrs. Bare was born October 21, 1921 in Chatham County, the daughter of Murk and Cora (Dunn) Moody. She was retired from Robbins & Ghant and a member of Plainfield Friends Meeting and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. Eva enjoyed quilting, Bingo and coloring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Bare and a infant son, Johnny Bare, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by two daughters: Charlotte B. Allsup of Pittsboro, NC, Rejina B. Maness of Highfalls, NC; two sons: William T. Bare of Siler City, NC; Henry W. Bare of Holly Springs, NC; one sister: Lucille Moody of Bear Creek, NC; two brothers: Tom Moody of Bear Creek, NC, and Earle Moody of Garner, NC; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, June 17, 2013 from 6:30 - 8:30 Pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 N. Second Avenue, Siler City. Other times they will be at the home of a son, William Bare, 652 Johnny Lindley Road, Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Plainfield Friends Meeting Cemetery with Larry W. McEntire officiating.
