Eronie Keck

Eronie Tripp Keck, 87, of Siler City died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Keck was a native of Chatham County and was born on November 22, 1927, the daughter of Evander and Nettie Suzie Tripp. She was retired from Collins and Aikman. Eronie loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, she also loved to draw and paint, work in her yard and garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Robert Clifton “Dock” Keck, Sr., brothers; William Paul Tripp and her twin, Erhonda Tripp, sisters; Cara Tripp and Mazie Tripp. She is survived by daughter: Addie Lenore Keck of Siler City, two sons: Robert C. "Bobby" Keck, Jr. and wife, Kay of Apex, Danny Ray Keck and wife, Joanna of Siler City, grandchildren, Robert C. Keck III, Heather Keck, Laura Keck, Johnny and Jennifer Driggers, great-grandchildren, Abbie, Emmy, Bailey, Taylor and Leah. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at West End United Methodist Church, 1104 N. Chatham Ave., Siler City with Rev. Jim Whittaker officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.
