Edith Phillips Pearce

Edith Phillips Pearce, 95, of  Siler City on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Mrs. Pearce was born in Chatham County on September 18, 1927, the daughter of Willie Everette and Addie Phillips.

Edith cherished her family. She spent her days as a housewife taking care of them, later getting to spoil her grand and great grandchildren. Edith was a member of Edward Hill Friends Meeting Church. She loved to get out and travel or go shopping. In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband, George Ross Pearce; and sisters, Edna Headen and Ruth Willett.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Webster and husband Jack of Siler City; grandchildren, Jennifer Webster, and Jeremy Webster and wife Ashley; great grandchildren, Justin Bender, Allison Bender, Hadley Webster, and Ryland Webster.

A private graveside service will be held at Edward Hill Friends Meeting Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
