Edith Cathleen Caldwell

Edith Cathleen Caldwell, 59, of Siler City died Monday, October 19, 2015 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Ms. Caldwell was born March 16, 1956. Edith was a native of Buncombe County, and had worked for Goldkist Poultry Company. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a sister; Mary Burns, brother; Charles Caldwell, aunt; Judy Lineberry, uncle; Francis Caldwell all of Siler City, several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be Wednesday October, 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at the Smith and Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Ave., Siler City. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Hickory Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Wall officiating. On line condolences may be made at www.pughfuneralhome.com.
