E. Paul Fesmire

E. Paul Fesmire, 96, of Siler City died Sunday, June 10, 2018.

Mr. Fesmire was born in Guilford County on January 31, 1922 the son of Emmett A. and Myrtle (Phillips) Fesmire. Paul was a member of Edward Hill Friends Meeting where he had served as an Elder, an usher and served on the social committee. He was an Army Veteran of WWII.  Paul had enjoyed hunting in younger years and was often found helping others in need.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Hilliard Fesmire; his parents; brothers, Lane, Wade, and Mack Fesmire; niece, Sue Humes; an infant sister; grandchild, Aaron Brady.

Paul is survived by sisters-in-law, Kathleen Burke, Margaret H. Phillips, Kathryn Fesmire; grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Maggi Brady; nephews, Danny Wall and wife, Becky, Jimmy Wall, Dennis Burke and wife, Bonnie; niece, Lorrie Wall and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Edward Hill Friends Meeting Fellowship Hall, 92 Ed Leonard Road, Siler City. The funeral will follow Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Edward Hill Friends Meeting with Pastor Josh Conrad officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Edward Hill Friends Meeting Building Fund, 92 Ed Leonard Road, Siler City, NC 27344. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to caregivers Lorrie, Connie, Mary, Jessie and Jimmy. Also a special thanks is extended to Dr. James Davis.
