Doris Ellen Wise

Doris Ellen Wise, 73, of Liberty died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Wise was born in New York City on September 10, 1940 the daughter of Howard and Wilma (Garner) Wise. She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. Doris had been a college professor, owned and operated "Pack Rats Attic", an antique shop, and also had been employed as a computer analyst with AT&T. She maintained special interest in photography and a love of animals especially horses and dogs. She is survived by cousins, Lois Miller and husband, Larry and Patrick Garner all of Goldston, NC. A graveside service will be held on December 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Goldston Cemetery with Rev. David King officiating. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
