Doris Andrews Russell

Doris Andrews Russell, 74, Siler City passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was born on December 14, 1942 in Siler City. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Imogene Andrews, sister-in-law Janice Cox Andrews and a nephew, Forrest Andrews. She is survived by her sister, Clarice Andrews Harris and her husband, William Wayne Harris, and brother Darrell Andrews; nieces and nephews, Melissa Harris Cooper, Donna Andrews Stone, Angel Andrews Dwyer, L'oreal Jones, Andrew Jones, Ayden Andrews, Kiley Dixon and Merrett Dwyer. Doris enjoyed bowling, spending time with family and friends and would do anything she could to help you. She loved everyone unconditionally. She worshipped her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her hometown church, First Wesleyan Church in Siler City and then later in life at Bethlehem Wesleyan Church in Snow Camp. Doris's career is best remembered as secretary at Piedmont Poultry Inc. and Darrell Andrews Trucking Inc. Visitation with family and friends will be at Bethlehem Wesleyan Church located at 9468 Snow Camp Road, Snow Camp, NC on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
