Donna Snyder Worthington

Donna Snyder Worthington, 66, of Siler City died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Siler City Center. Mrs. Worthington was born in Chatham County on December 22, 1949 the daughter of William Gibson and Ruby (Blair) Snyder. Donna was a member of West End United Methodist Church, attended Elon College and had worked for 16 years in the Commerce Department of the state of North Carolina. She was a worldwide traveler. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by one son: Nicholas Blair Worthington of Siler City; mother, Ruby Blair Snyder of Siler City; one brother: Greg Snyder and wife, Nancy of Surfside Beach, SC; nieces, Karen Halleran of Charlotte and Dana Snyder of Surfside Beach, SC. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery, North Chatham Avenue,Siler City with Rev. Jim Whittaker officiating.
