David Ronald Ferguson

David Ronald Ferguson, 58, of 16331 NC Hwy 902, Bear Creek died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Ferguson was born February 28, 1953 the son of Lee Verne and Lula Mae (Robbins) Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a native of Randolph County. David was a truck driver for 20 years.. He was preceded in death by his father; Lee Verne Ferguson, brothers; Carl Ferguson and Tom Ferguson. He is survived by his wife: Teresa (Phillips) Ferguson, twin daughters; Amanda and Alecia Ferguson of the home, mother; Lula Mae (Robbins) Ferguson, three sisters; Patty and husband, Oscar Staley of Staley, Martha Stout, Edna Overman and husband Rod of Liberty, brothers; Melvin Ferguson and wife, Connie of Liberty and Garland "Chick" Ferguson of Liberty. The visitation will be Saturday February 4, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at the Smith & Buckner Funeral Home. The funeral will be 3:00 PM Sunday February 5, 2012 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 17721 NC Hwy 902, Bear Creek with Rev. Darrell Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
