David Clyde Frazier

David Clyde Frazier, 68, of Oakley Church Road, Bear Creek died Monday, October 17, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Frazier was born in Chatham County on January 12, 1948 the son of Clyde Thomas and Lois (Brown) Frazier. David attended Calvary Holiness Church in Liberty and had been employed by Hickory Mountain Farms. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and trips to the beach. David was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Linda Smith and brother, Bobby Frazier. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Jean Lawhorn Frazier; daughters: Brenda F. Scott of Bear Creek, Norma F. Weiss and husband, Marty of Asheboro; son: David Frazier and wife, Andrea of Asheboro; sister: Judy F. Beal of Coleridge; step-father, Leroy White of Siler City; grandchildren, Holly Dees, Gary Schwan, Walker Furr and Mason Frazier. The family will receive friends Friday, October 21, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and other times at the family home.. The funeral will be Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 5946 Pleasant Grove Church Rd., Bennett with Rev. Mark Hurt officiating.
