Danny Leon Nobles, 61, of Siler City died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at his residence. . Mr. Nobles was born in Chatham County on September 4, 1952 the son of Leon and Thelma (Hill) Nobles. Danny was a member of Bonlee Baptist Church and employed at Bonlee Elementary and Chatham Charter Schools. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Verna Tillman Nobles; sons, Daniel and Jonus Nobles; granddaughter, Jesalyn Nobles; extended family, Daniel Haithcox and family and Brandy Hinrichs. sisters,: Ann Clark and husband, Mike, Linda York and husband, "Goober"; brother, James R. Hill. The family will receive friends Friday, September 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 at Bonlee Baptist Church with Brandon Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Bonlee.
