Cynthia Clemmer Moore

Cynthia "Cindy" Clemmer Moore, 65, of Bear Creek, passed away on February 13, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones at her home.

Cindy was born in Guilford County on February 8, 1958, the daughter of the late John Arthur and Bettie Cates Clemmer.

Cindy attended College Park Baptist Church in Greensboro. She attended Appalachian State, then started her career with LapCorp in which she retired after many years as a Database Administrator. Cindy loved reading and going to the beach. She was a die hard Duke fan, and enjoyed getting out to ride horses. She loved her dogs Fred and Eno. 

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Neil Moore; daughters, Alisha Moore of Bear Creek, and Meagan Frank and husband Garrett of Bear Creek; grandchildren, Dawton Moore, Zolie Mae Caviness and Avery Frank; and sisters, Angela Bailey and husband David of Richmond, VA, and Robin Luke and husband James of Concord.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Sandy Branch Baptist Church, 715 Sandy Branch Church Rd., Bear Creek. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Wachs officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
