Christopher Perry Fields

Christopher Perry Fields passed away at his residence on December 25, 2015. Born April 30, 1955, Chris was a life-long resident of Siler City, graduate of Jordan-Matthews High School (1973), and Central Carolina Community College (1988). Chris was a member and past master of Siler City Masonic Lodge #403 A.F. & A.M. He retired from TriPath Imaging, where he worked as an electronics engineer. Throughout his life he loved the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Jerry L. Fields; paternal grandparents, Norton and Leona Pickett Fields; and maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mattie Langley Stuart. Survivors are wife, Marsha Dixon Fields; mother, Frances Stuart Fields; brother, Stuart Fields (Beverly); nieces, Ashley Fields (Jeff), Amy Gray (Matthew), Anna and Sarah Dixon; brother-in-law; Skip Dixon (Susan); and pet companions, Rip and Cat. Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm with visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 N. Second Avenue, Siler City, NC, with Chaplain Nate Warn officiating.
