Charles Elmer "Bud" Olson

Charles Elmer "Bud" Olson, 81, of Siler City died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at UNC Hospitals. Mr. Olson was born in West Georgetown, New Hampshire on June 26, 1938 the son of Charles Eric and Vivian (Camber) Olson. Bud was employed in road maintenance in the public works department of Wallingford, Connecticut. Bud lived a quiet simple life, enjoying the simple pleasures. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean Olson; his parents; sisters, Burlene and Rowena Olson He is survived by two daughters: Arleen McPherson and husband, John of Siler City, NC and Stacey Olson and husband Phillip Urenia of California; one sister: Betty Farone and husband, Richard of Connecticut;grandchildren, Jacqueline Hurd, Danielle Attia; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Hurd, Amerah Attia, Sophia Wise, Brendan Attia, Miles Hurd Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
