Brenda Ann Scott Edwards

Brenda Ann Scott Edwards, 75, of Siler City, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 10^th, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Brenda was born on August 16^th, 1948, in Moore County to Ralph L. Scott and Edith Hill Scott. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Garry H. Edwards; and half sister, Rachel "Pete" Hill Howlett. 

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon E. Bowman and her husband, Chad; two grandsons, Jessy Bowman and his fiancé Ally Hornaday and Cody Bowman; and family member, Rose Mary Staley.

She loved her Lord and savior Jesus Christ first and foremost and was a member of Moon’s Chapel. Brenda’s grandsons were very special to her, and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed going to rodeos with her husband, Garry. She loved to provide for her family and was a very hardworking lady. Brenda was a die-hard Carolina and Atlanta Braves fan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moon’s Chapel Cemetery Fund or Prosperity Friends Meeting in High Falls, NC.

The family will be having a private graveside service at Moon’s Chapel.
