Brenda Brown Parker

Brenda Brown Parker, 74, of Joe Brown Road, Bear Creek died Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Parker was born in Chatham County on January 21, 1942 the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Dixon) Brown. Brenda was an active member of Oakley Baptist Church and had been employed with Chatham County Schools as a secretary. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Parker and her parents. She is survived by one son: Joseph Parker and wife, Heather of Bear Creek; grandsons, Dillon and Corbin Parker one sister: Agnes Fox and husband, Ed of Bear Creek; one brother: Joe Brown and wife, Allene of Bear Creek; The family will receive friends Monday, October 24, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oakley Baptist Church, 2300 Siler City-Glendon Road, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Monday, October 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Oakley Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
