Blanche Neuschafer Everwine, 87, of Siler City died Monday, May 25, 2015.
Mrs. Everwine was born in Gloucester County, New Jersey on June 23, 1927 the daughter of Daniel Edward and Florence (Freshcoln) Neuschafer. She was a member of Pittsboro Church of the Nazarene and had been employed as a daycare director.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Daniel Austin Everwine, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Elizabeth Carter, Sarah Neuschafer, Shirley Cano; brothers, George and Daniel Neuschafer; daughter-in-law, Ruthann L. Everwine.
She is survived by six daughters: Rose Everwine Fields and husband, William of Siler City, NC, Susan L. Johnson and husband, Robert of Glenmoore, PA, Marcia J. Murphy and husband, Scott of Siler City, NC, Terry Lee Johnson and husband, Scott of Siler City, NC, Kathleen Borgman and husband, James of Taylors, SC, Luanne Everwine Miller and husband, Terrence of Siler City, NC; two sons: Charles M. Everwine and wife, Jonica of Leola, PA., Daniel A. Everwine, Jr. and wife, Renee of Siler City, NC; sister: Florence Carlton; brother: David Neuschafer; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; caregiver, Wanda Burgess; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 29, 2015 from 10:00-11:00AM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Borgman and Rev. William Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Siler City.
