Billy Wayne Brooks

Billy Wayne Brooks, 68, of 5755 Goldston-Glendon Road, Goldston, NC died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Mr. Brooks was born May 13, 1944, the son of Harvey and Clara Belle Jones Brooks. Billy was a native of Chatham County, retired as a Cable Manager Installer for UNC Hospitals. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing and was very devoted to his dog, Pepper. He is survived by his wife: Judy Gaines Brooks of the home, daughters; Kelly B. Hadley of Charlotte, NC, Heather B. Gaddy of Greensboro, NC and Patti Binkley of Sanford, NC, brother; James Earl "Jimmy" Brooks and wife, Candy of Asheboro, NC, Eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
