Betty Lou Dale Crosby

Betty Lou Dale Crosby, 87, of Stage Coach Road, Siler City died Saturday, February 27, 2016. Mrs. Crosby was born in Iager, West Virginia on February 29, 1928 the daughter of Oscar William and Lillian (Keaton) Dale. She was a member of the Siler City Church of Jesus of Apostolic Faith and a homemaker but was dedicated to and supportive of her husband's ministry and outreach. Betty Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Clarence Crosby; son, Douglas Crosby and her parents. She is survived by four daughters: Bertha Ann Howard and husband, William of Huntington, WVA, Peggy Lou Maynard and husband, Calvin of Ashland, KY, Brenda Sue Hudson of Siler City, Cathy Lynn Sheppard and husband, Keith of Kernersville; four sons: Clarence Robert Crosby of Iceland, Robert Lee Crosby of Branchland, WVA, Wilfred Crosby and wife, Sandra of Siler City, Michael Crosby and wife, Elizabeth of Siler City; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Church Of Jesus Apostolic Faith, 701 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the church with Rev. Joe Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow in Chatham Memorial Park, Siler City.
