Betty Casto Rives

Betty Zane Casto Rives, 84, of West Dolphin Street, Siler City died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Siler City Center. Mrs. Rives was born August 18, 1929 in Sago, West Virginia the daughter of Clyde B. and Stella (Wilfong) Casto. She was a homemaker and a member of the Community Church of God in Dunn Loring, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Lee Rives; son, Gary Casto; sisters, Rosa Love, Ella Burr and Ann Hammer; brothers, Dennis, James and Robert Casto and her parents. She is survived by three daughters: Barbara Wheeler of Essex Junction, VT, Carolyn Linger and husband, Ron of West Virginia, Linda Lou Casto of West Virginia; sons, Billy Casto and wife, Louise of Virginia, Lewis Casto of West Virginia; brother, Bill Casto and wife, Emma of Ohio. A visitation will be held from 8:00 - 5:00 on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The burial will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:30 AM at Flint Hill Cemetery, Oakton, Virginia. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the Rives family.
