Barry Dale Edwards

Barry Dale Edwards, 75, of Siler City, died Thursday, September 12, 2024. 

Barry was born March 12, 1948, in Guilford County to the late Glosson and Esta Coble Edwards. He was a US Marine Corps. Veteran. Barry spent many years as a union organizer for industrial businesses.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his daughters, Brandy Edwards and Megan Gilliland and husband Jason; grandchildren, Hunter and Skylar Edwards, Jaggar, Jayston, and Jake Gilliland; great grandchildren, Hope and Hayes Edwards; brother, Roger Edwards; and sister, Sharon Edwards.

In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra B. Edwards; daughter, Laura Edwards; twin brother, Garry Edwards; and sister-in-law, Brenda Edwards.

Visitation will be Friday, September 20th, 2024, from 1-2 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 3 pm at Chatham Memorial Park. Officiated by Roger Edwards.
